Eric is Danielle’s brother and spends a few weeks a year visiting and working on the farm with us. He doesn’t vibe much with livestock farming itself, but he’s an accomplished wood-worker, our sawmill operator, a retired software programmer, and complainer extraordinaire. During his farm visits, he spends most of his days operating the sawmill and then helps out with farm chores. In the evenings, he answers our programming questions and back when he was young and impressionable, would ghost-write our early blog posts while drinking mead. Now he's serious and old, so we write our own monthly newsletters.
